Fisrt, the introduction of this company:
Advent Capital (Holdings) PLC is the holding company of a specialist property reinsurance and insurance underwriting group and is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange. Advent has also recently formed Advent Re to trade in the Bermuda international reinsurance market.

• Second quarter profit before tax of 7.1 million pounds(2007: 6.2 million pounds) reflects the reduced frequency of single risk property losses since the firdt quarter.
